Vehicle status in overview
We’ve redesigned how vehicle connection statuses are shown in ConnectedWorkshop. This update makes it easier for you to understand how a vehicle is connected, what the connection status means, and if any action is needed!
New Connectivity column
In the Vehicle Overview, you’ll now see a separate column for connection. CC-Link Connectivity now shows clear connection status using colour-coded badges and labels, making it easy to see if a vehicle needs action.

NEW: Clear Status Labels
We’ve replaced the old coloured status dots with labels and colour-coded badges. These make it easier to understand a vehicle’s connection status at a glance:
Each badge now shows a short status:
Here's some quick tips on what each badge means:
- Communicating (Green) - Data is being received
- Awaiting user consent (Amber) - Consent is missing from the driver
- Not communicating (Red) - Unit has not communicated since vehicle was activated
- Not installed (Grey) - No unit is installed in the vehicle
Tip: Hover for More Detail
You can hover over any badge to see additional information like when data was last received or why there’s an alert. These labels appear directly on the vehicle row or in the Connectivity tab :
New Connectivity tab
A new Connectivity tab has been added to the Vehicle Details page.
In the vehicle details view, you’ll now find a Connectivity tab that replaces the old Wi-Fi icon:
The updated interface brings a few more changes to help you act faster and stay informed. This tab shows detailed information such as:
- CC-Link connectivity: Firmware version, hardware details, and last data received
- Last time data was received
- Active alerts (e.g., VIN mismatch, No data received for X days, Tracking disabled)
Unit-level actions can also be performed directly from this tab:
- Enable workshop mode
- Deactivate unit
New Visual Improvements
We’ve made it easier to spot important issues at a glance! Key alerts now appear directly in the 'Vehicle Overview' tab, now with clearer text and colour indicators:
- Battery voltage alerts now appear directly in the Vehicle Overview, using colour-coded text for visibility:
Tracking disabled appears in two forms:
- Permanent: A fixed “Tracking disabled” label:
