Whether you have moved to a new area or simply want to select a different service partner, you can easily update your preferred workshop directly within the ConnectedCars mobile app.

Step 1: Open the Contact Menu
Open the Connected Cars app on your smartphone.
Look at the bottom navigation bar and tap the Contact icon (speech bubble icon):
Step 2: Access Your Workshop Settings
At the top of the Contact screen, you will see two tabs: Messages and Details.
Tap Details to open your current workshop’s information page:
Scroll down and tap Change workshop:
Step 3: Select Your New Workshop
You will be taken to the Workshops directory list.
Browse the list or use the 'Search' bar at the top of the screen to type the name or location of your desired garage.
Tap on the workshop you wish to select. A tick mark will appear next to your chosen workshop:
Step 4: Confirm the Change
A confirmation pop-up window will appear on your screen with the following message:
Tap OK to confirm your selection.
Your app is now updated! All future service bookings, messaging, and health alerts will be directed to your newly selected workshop.

What happens to my message history when I switch workshops?
Your message history with your previous garage remains safely stored in the system. However, to keep your inbox organised, those previous chats will be hidden until you switch back to that specific workshop.
Can I switch back to my old workshop later?
Yes. You can follow these exact same steps at any time to switch back or choose another service partner.
