Leads and Error Codes

For a more in-depth guide on Leads, look here:

The installed CC-link collects invaluable and detailed data from the vehicle’s ECU’s. These data also consist of any error codes and issues usually only found with a diagnostic tester. These errors have previously been shown on the error page as Serious and Other incidents. Now, you are able to sort and filter error codes and incidents based on ECU and severity in the 3 levels. From highest to lowest: Permanent, Sporadic, and Potential. With this, you have a deeper insight into what ECUs could be failing or have issues, and can take the right steps to help your customer proactively.

You are able to view a vehicle's leads and error codes by clicking on the 'Leads and Errors' tab on the vehicle page.

Permanent error codes:

Permanent error codes are error codes that were read out during the latest trip and are therefore still present in the vehicle, but not classified as a lead.

Sporadic error codes:

Sporadic error codes are error codes that have recently occurred and have been recorded multiple times by the vehicle but were not present on the latest trip.

Potential error codes:

Potential error codes indicate that the vehicle might have difficulties performing a specific task or operation. It may not currently affect the vehicle, or it may be a past issue or an intermittent problem, and the user may not have noticed any issues. However, potential error codes can provide valuable insight into "hard to find" problems and/or indicate upcoming problems, which can then be handled proactively.

Further insight filtering:

You can also sort incidents based on time and status. The status of an error code can change from open to closed, depending on the ECU's status or if the CC-link has not received the error for an extended period. You have the option to sort by open or closed status, as well as by the most recent or the least recently detected error codes.

Assign vehicle

As an optional feature, you can now assign a user to the vehicle, making it visible to others that the assigned user will be the primary person responsible for handling services, leads, etc., related to that particular vehicle
