What is Driving Behaviour and How is it Measured?

Tracking your driving behaviour is a great way to look after your car, protect the environment, and stay safe on the road.

By understanding your driving habits, you can learn to drive more smoothly and securely. Here is a simple guide to how our system measures your driving style and creates your score.

How We Measure Your Driving

If you have an active CC-Link device fitted in your car, it can detect how you accelerate, brake, and take corners.

You choose whether the app tracks this information. If you turn on the "Trips" feature in your app settings, the system will start collecting this data and showing it to you after your journeys:

To see your overall habits, check the "Statistics" tab in your app. Here, you will see a driving score from 0 to 10:

Note:

The system needs to collect enough data to give you an accurate score. Because of this, you won't see a score until you have been driving for at least 4 weeks and have covered at least 50 kilometres.
