Correcting an Incorrect Customer Email Invitation

If an invitation has been sent to an incorrect email address, you can easily correct the entry error and reissue the invitation by following the steps below.

 

Step-by-Step Correction Guide : 
 

To update a customer's email address, you must first cancel the incorrect request before sending a new one:

  1. Cancel the Pending Invitation: Locate the vehicle profile. If the invitation is still pending, click Uninvite. If the user profile has already been erroneously activated, click Remove user:

  2. Initiate a New Invitation: Click the Add User button to open a fresh invitation form:

  3. Enter Correct Information: Type in the correct email address and include the customer's mobile phone number if applicable.

  4. Confirm Customer Consent: Tick the mandatory checkbox to confirm that the customer has explicitly granted data sharing consent:

  5. Send the Invitation: Click Invite user to finalise the process and dispatch the new link.

Important Notice:

Before granting vehicle access to a new email profile, you must ensure the customer can confirm legal ownership or authorised use of the vehicle. Always verify their identity by requesting valid paperwork, such as a physical or digital vehicle registration certificate, before sending the invitation. This step is strictly required to maintain GDPR compliance and protect customer data.
